OVERVIEW

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) is a specialty of medicine and dentistry that focuses on diagnosis, surgical treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the face and jaws. Department provides diagnosis and treatment of maxillofacial pathologies, trauma and aesthetic facial surgery apart from tooth extractions of both simple as well as complex verities.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department located in the ground floor of our dental college building with a capacity of 15 well equipped dental chairs and a separate air conditioned minor surgical room. Apart from the clinical area, the department also has its own seminar room and library for the benefit of students being trained. We offer training to under graduate students from third year and final year of B.D.S .We aim to provide the highest level of training in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery in a comprehensive manner and to develop a curriculum with a strong academic and research background.
