Smile Squad – Spreading Smiles, One School at a Time

Smile Squad is a vibrant and compassionate collaborative initiative by the Department of Pedodontics and the Department of Public Health Dentistry at St. Gregorios Dental College, Chelad. This outreach program is dedicated to promoting oral health awareness and preventive dental care among school communities in and around the Chelad region.

Recognizing the importance of early education in establishing lifelong oral hygiene habits, Smile Squad actively engages with students, parents, and teachers of neighboring schools. The program offers:

Interactive awareness sessions tailored for children to make learning about oral hygiene fun, simple, and engaging.

Educational classes for parents and teachers, equipping them with the knowledge to support children's dental health at home and in the classroom.

On-site dental check-ups and treatments, ensuring that timely care reaches those who need it, right within their school environment.

With a shared vision of nurturing healthy smiles and empowering communities, Smile Squad combines the clinical expertise of pedodontics with the outreach strength of community dentistry.
