OVERVIEW

Department of Biochemistry offers biochemistry subject with nutrition and dietetics for students in both BDS and MDS courses. Biochemistry course will provide a sound knowledge on the biochemical basis of the life processes relevant to the human system. So this subject is considered as the scientific foundation for the field of modern medicine especially for understanding the biochemical basis of health and disease. Department consist of well experienced faculties and a separate laboratory containing all the equipments required for BDS and MDS studies and research activities.

Major activities include,

• Conduct theory and practical classes for BDS and MDS students.
• Arrange facilities for MDS projects.
• Organize seminars/conferences/workshops for students.
• Conduct research projects in collaborating with students.
